A (moving) artist at work

Today started in Sawston at 7am where I met Tim, a brand new client, for my first job of the day.  The work involved transporting a whole van full of equipment for the Cambridge Drawing Society for their art exhibition at Leys School in central Cambridge.  I got the van loaded up in no time at all and it was great to receive this photo of the art on display this afternoon.  Great to have played a small part in this!  Thanks to Leys School for being so accommodating and offering me coffee and a lovely piece of cake.  It will be a pleasure to return in a few weeks to help Tim and the team move their equipment once again.

After completing this job, I headed up to Ely to pick up a massive chest of drawers for a customer in Cambridge.

But the day wasn't over there...I was then pleased to help a man in Cambridge move into a one bedroom flat with his girlfriend.  As well as doing Mick and Van admin and booking in new jobs.

I then returned home to exciting news!  A brand new Mick and Van plaque has arrived, ready to go by my front door....photo to follow.....

This is just a snapshot into one day of a very busy few weeks at Mick and Van. Call now to book in your move!
